WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ABRITES DIAGNOSTICS FOR MERCEDES FBS4 CARS IN JANUARY
In December 2024 we released some incredible functions for the latest Mercedes cars – the ability to replace new VGS4-NAG2 transmissions without opening them, the IC177 cluster calibration licenses, but just when you thought this was everything Abrites had to offer this year we are happy to announce that there are many more new features we are ready to release with our first update of 2025.
Here is what you can expect to see in January 2025 :
Ability to remove crash data from all airbag and Engine Control Modules in FBS4 cars.
Removing the “Emergency P” error from the DSM modules without the need to replace the module itself. This issue occurs when the vehicle has had 100 unsuccessful attempts to shift to different gear than “Park”.
VGS-FDCT – removal of the permanent DTC (most commonly P051300)
This DTC usually immobilizes the vehicles using the front wheel drive DCT transmission after the battery is drained and cannot be removed when replacing the battery without a tool such as AVDI and the Abrites diagnostics for Mercedes FBS4 Toolbox.
Personalization of modules without the existence of the old module from the vehicle now expanded to include DSM modules, VGS4-NAG2 and CRD3 Engine Controllers
Adaptation of modules to an EIS (EZS)
Adapting existing modules to the VIN and SSID of the EZS (EIS) – this includes vital modules such as Airbag, ABS, EPS (Electronic Power Steering), Distronic modules, instrument cluster, head units and others.
We will be updating you with more information as we get closer to the update, however we wanted you to know what some of the things we are working on are. We are continuing our constant development to provide you with the best tool for any FBS4 car.
This is just some of the new functions we have in store for you for 2025, expect even more from us in the coming weeks and months!
